Our Story

Titch Labradoodles, is a long held dream for the owner of Titch. After welcoming Thomas into her family in 2010 for her then 3 year old son, who has Autism Spectrum Disorder she saw the benefits of the bond, companionship and support Thomas was able to provide to Mitch. Along with the unconditional love she provided to Mitch, she was also able to support to his language development, social skills and overall health and well being helping him to make strides and reducing the severity of his ASD characteristics. The Titch goal is to provide the same for other families and is came to life in 2022 with the perfect pups sought for trainning and to become future Titch parents. the long held dream of raising puppies who will grow up to make suitable support and therapy dogs became real.

Why “Thomas” for the female Labrador?

Thomas was named after Thomas the Tank Engine, a huge fixation for Mitch back then - the name inadvertently also created a talking point enabling people to focus on the dog, not the child and then allowed the opportunity to discuss his interest of Thomas the Tank Engine with others in a non direct way.

“Titch” is Mitch and Thomas combined, it also means small person, this combination is who we hope to create amazing pups for.

Titch Labradoodles, in loving memory of Thomas. The best girl.
